Emile is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Machine Learning Group, part of the Prosperity grant led by Prof Richard E Turner and Prof José Miguel Hernández-Lobato, and in partnership with Microsoft Research. He received his BS in Applied Mathematics from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, his MSc in Machine Learning from Ecole Normale Supérieure and his PhD from the Oxford University Statistics Department. His research interests centre around deep probabilistic machine learning with a focus on encoding problem symmetry and geometrical constraints with applications to the natural sciences.
