I am an Assistant Professor in Innovative Computational Methods and MRC Career Development Award fellow at CBL. I am the head of the Nox Lab [LINK] and also a Fellow at Pembroke College. I trained in neuroscience at the University of Milan Bicocca, University College London and University of Cambridge. My research group investigates the neural and computational processes involved in body homeostasis and defence from aversive states, from autonomous control to high-order decision making. We develop and use a mix of computational methods from machine learning, control theory, dynamical systems.
