John Bronskill is a research assistant in the Machine Learning Group at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. Richard E Turner. His research interests include machine learning, digital imaging, computer vision, and signal processing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a PhD degree in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Before joining the University of Cambridge, he co-founded ImageWare Research & Development which built special effects software for digital photos and video. The start-up was acquired by Microsoft where he worked for more than 20 years in various technical leadership and engineering management roles in the areas of digital imaging, computer graphics, and machine learning.
